Moorbridge offers a distinct educational approach for pupils who've struggled in mainstream settings, often due to complex challenges like trauma, SEMH needs, or literacy and numeracy gaps. Recognizing the diverse individual needs of their students, Moorbridge employs a creative and flexible strategy across all aspects of school life, aiming to re-motivate pupils, build on their strengths, and actively address barriers to learning in collaboration with them and their families, ultimately enabling them to thrive and exceed their own expectations.

Sports HUB
The Moorbridge sports hub provides a structured and supportive framework for pupils to engage in physical activity, develop their skills, and achieve their full potential both physically and academically.

Based out of our Shiremoor site, specialist staff create a learning environment centring around a variety of sports where pupils access core curriculum alongside sports leadership qualifications.
