Welcome from our Headteacher, Matt Snape As Headteacher of Moorbridge PRU it is my privilege to welcome you to our school community. We are a Pupil Referral Unit (PRU) dedicated to supporting young people who need a tailored, alternative approach to education. We understand that every student’s journey is unique, and many who join us have faced barriers, challenges, or disruptions in mainstream settings. Our mission is not just to teach, but to provide a fresh start and a clear path forward. With values built on Relationships, Resilience and Respect. We provide a calm, safe, and trauma-informed environment where highly skilled staff place the social, emotional, and mental health needs of our students at the center of everything we do. We deliver a creative, high-quality, and personalised curriculum. Whether a student is working toward GCSEs or vocational qualifications, we maintain high expectations for their academic success. We believe that trust and consistency are the keys to re-engaging with learning. We focus heavily on emotional regulation, building confidence, and learning how to communicate effectively. Working in Partnership Teamwork is essential in our approach. We work hand-in-hand with parents, carers, mainstream schools, and external professionals. Our ultimate goal is to equip our students with the skills, resilience, and self-awareness they need for their next step—whether that means a successful return to mainstream education, transitioning to a specialist provision, or moving on to post-16 training and employment.
